This is a story of a 6 year old girl.

This 6 year old girl liked adventure. And space. She wanted to be an astronaut.

But then she saw Star Wars. And Indiana Jones. She did not want to be an astronaut anymore.

She wanted to be Harrison Ford.

Harrison was male. The 6 year old girl was female. So she ditched her dolls and played with X Wings.

Harrison was Caucasian. The 6 year old girl was Asian. So she spoke English all the time and refused to speak her ethnic tongue.

Harrison had swagger. The 6 year old girl liked skipping. So she ditched the hopping for a chin up, shoulders down walk.

The next day, the 6 year old girl revealed her new self to her best friend Kimberly.

This isn’t you, said Kimberly.

Of course it’s not. It’s Harrison.

I don’t like Harrison. I liked you, said Kimberly.

Oh.

If you’re Harrison, we can’t be best friends anymore, said Kimberly.

Oh I want to be best friends still.

Then be yourself, said Kimberly.

Ok.
